About me
Shayna Lebowitz is an enthusiastic young professional with a passion for Jewish education, youth development, and of course camp! Her flame was first lit at Camp Laurelwood, where she spent the past fourteen summers— first as a camper, and more recently as prayer leader, division head, and programming coordinator. Currently, Shayna works as the Youth Engagement Specialist at Temple Israel in Westport, CT, as well as the Youth Director at The Community Synagogue in Westport. She is also a URJ CLASP Fellow and is excited to spend this summer at Eisner Camp through the fellowship. Shayna recently graduated from Tulane University (roll wave!) with a BA in Jewish Studies and Linguistics. She is a former Cornerstone Fellow and Senior Fellow, and now a proud member of the Cornerstone Alumni Board.
