About me
Shayna Ellsworth is a recent graduate of Sam Houston State University, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts, major of 2D Studio Art. Shayna started as a camper at URJ Greene Family Camp and has since spent 9 summers at camp, with many more to come. This past year, she worked at URJ Greene Family Camp as a unit head and interned at Houston Hillel, forming valuable connections to each individual she encountered during her time with both communities. While at Sam Houston State University, Shayna took on the role of president for the university Hillel, and was charged with ensuring that every Jewish student she met was to be seen and accepted into Hillel with open arms. This responsibility cemented the importance of unity between the Jewish people and strengthened her passion for Jewish professionalism.
